Tulsa has always been a city of innovation, entrepreneurship and growth. From the oil boom in the first part of the 19th century, through the Urban Renewal in the 60’s that saw the construction of so many buildings and businesses that populate the downtown skyline today, to where we are currently with the Tulsa Remote program, which encourages a brand new crop of young entrepreneurs to come here and make a difference in our community, T-town has always been a place of forward motion. And that’s just one of the many reasons why we love being planted downtown, right smack dab in the middle of it all.
Speaking of young entrepreneurs, one of the organizations that has made quite a name for itself in the local entrepreneurial community is the Tulsa Young Professionals or TYPROS. Over the years they have led the charge for many of the advancements and infrastructure development that have benefited businesses and aspiring young entrepreneurs all over the city. So when we heard that their annual gala, the Boomtown Awards, was coming up we knew we wanted to get involved.
The Boomtown Awards honors Tulsa-based movers and shakers that are working hard to use their businesses and influence to improve the city and foster young talent. So this year, we are proud to be one of the many great sponsors for this event, where we will help lend our support to such a fantastic and effective organization. Coworking is, at its core, working together, and we are excited to join hands with our friends at TYPROS.
Proceeds from your tickets and sponsorships benefit the TYPROS Foundation, which provides strategic funding to projects and programs that engage young Tulsans in economic development and placemaking.
